Magnetometer

magnetometer is a device used to measure magnetic fields. There are several types of magnetometers, each with different characteristics and uses. Smartphones use Hall effect magnetometers, which measure the deflection of an electric current passing through a plate in the presence of a magnetic field. The stronger the magnetic field, the more current is deflected.
